MoreApr 26, 2013 Found a used Tecomec Jolly advertised here for 150.00. Not quite a Jolly "Star," but close. My Northern tool grinder main spring broke a while back. I broke the casting when trying to remove the hinge pin. Really stinks, but that thing did grind a pile of chains. I've been looking for a grinder for a while. The $150.00 isn't looking too bad.

Feb 06, 2013 Just make sure that the Tecomec model you are looking at is the same grinder as the 511A, as they do make smaller grinders that are not the same, and are less capable. The Jolly and Super Jolly are the same grinder with the difference between the two being the hydraulic chain clamping. The Midi Jolly and Baby Jolly are their lesser grinders.
